Terms & Conditions

By booking a cleaning service with Scrub Squad YYC, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before submitting a booking request.
1. Services
Scrub Squad YYC provides residential and commercial cleaning services in Calgary, Okotoks, Airdrie, Cochrane, and Chestermere. Services include standard cleaning, deep cleaning, move-in/move-out cleaning, office cleaning, post-construction cleaning, and other services as agreed upon. All services are subject to availability and confirmation by Scrub Squad YYC.
2. Quotes & Pricing
Quotes provided through our website are estimates based on the information you supply (square footage, clean type, add-ons, etc.). Final pricing is confirmed after our team has assessed the home. We charge $50/hr per cleaner, with a 3-hour minimum. A small travel fee of $0.50/km one way may apply for service addresses more than 20km from our cleaners. All prices are subject to 5% GST. We only ever charge for the exact time it takes to clean your home. If the job finishes under the 3-hour minimum, the minimum charge applies.
3. Booking & Deposit
To secure your appointment, a $50 deposit and a completed booking form are required. The deposit is applied toward the total cost of your clean. Appointment times are confirmed within 24 hours of your booking request. Scrub Squad YYC reserves the right to decline a booking at our discretion.
4. Cancellation & Rescheduling
We understand that plans change. To cancel or reschedule your appointment without penalty, please notify us at least 48 hours in advance. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours' notice may result in forfeiture of the deposit. Same-day cancellations will result in a cancellation fee equal to the deposit amount.
5. Satisfaction Guarantee
Your satisfaction is important to us. If something was missed during your clean, please notify us within 24 hours of service completion and we will return to address the issue at no additional charge. This guarantee applies to areas included in your booked service. It does not cover damage caused by pre-existing conditions or items not included in the original scope of work.
6. Access to Property
You are responsible for providing safe and timely access to the property at the scheduled appointment time. If our team cannot access the property at the scheduled time and no prior notice was given, a cancellation fee may apply. You may provide access instructions (door code, lockbox, key) in advance. Scrub Squad YYC will treat all access information as confidential.
7. Liability
Scrub Squad YYC is fully insured. In the unlikely event of damage caused by our team during a service, please notify us within 24 hours so we can investigate and resolve the matter. Scrub Squad YYC is not liable for pre-existing damage, wear and tear, or damage to fragile items not disclosed prior to the clean. We are not responsible for damage resulting from defective products, surfaces, or fixtures.
8. Health & Safety
We prioritize eco-friendly, low-toxicity cleaning products that are gentler for homes with children and pets. If you have specific product requirements or sensitivities, please inform us before your appointment. Our team reserves the right to refuse service in conditions that pose a health or safety risk (e.g., extreme clutter, biohazards, pest infestations).
9. Payment
Payment is due upon completion of each service unless otherwise agreed. We accept e-transfer and other payment methods as communicated at the time of booking. Overdue balances may be subject to a late payment fee.
10. Changes to These Terms
Scrub Squad YYC reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
